Fettuccine Recipe with Seared Tuna

In today's busy world, taking a moment to enjoy a wholesome, nutritious, and delicious meal can be a rare treat. It's important not just for our health but also for our well-being and happiness.

At the core of every delicious meal are fresh, seasonal ingredients.

The vibrant spinach, aromatic spring onions, and flavor-packed sun-dried tomatoes don't just elevate the taste—they enrich our bodies with vital nutrients and remind us of the benefits of eating well and choosing sustainably-sourced ingredients.

Ingredients:

  • Fettuccine pasta

  • Fresh spinach

  • Spring onion

  • Sun-dried tomatoes

  • Fresh tuna

  • Black sesame seeds

  • Paprika

  • Cumin

  • Olive oil

  • Salt and pepper

  • Bay leaves

  • Crushed garlic

Preparation:

Cooking the Fettuccine: Boil water with a touch of salt, bay leaves, and crushed garlic to infuse additional flavors into the pasta. Cook the fettuccine until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Preparing the Tuna: Season the tuna with paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper. In a hot skillet with a splash of olive oil, sear the tuna for 1-2 minutes on each side, achieving a crisp exterior while keeping the interior tender. Remove and slice.

Sautéing the Vegetables: Using the same skillet, add a bit more olive oil if necessary. Sauté the spring onions and dried tomatoes until they soften. Stir in the spinach just a little. Season with salt and pepper to your taste.

Combining the Dish: Toss the cooked fettuccine with the sautéed vegetables. Lay the seared tuna slices on top and sprinkle with black sesame seeds for an added crunch and visual appeal.

Dedicating time to cook from scratch nourishes more than just our bodies—it enriches our souls.

For me, cooking is much more than just preparing food; it's an act of love and a form of caring. Each time I cook for my loved ones, it is an opportunity to express my affection and commitment. Before I begin, I select my favorite music, which immerses me in a state of relaxation and creativity.

This musical atmosphere allows me to fully enjoy the process of cooking, from the meticulous selection of fresh and nutritious ingredients to the creation of dishes that satisfy not only the palate but also nourish the soul. Sharing these dishes with family and friends is, for me, one of the greatest joys, a true celebration of life and the love that binds us.
